Terminator 38, Huarache 58

It's amazing how one play can change everything. For the majority of the first half, the game between Huarache and Terminator was neck and neck until Huarache's LeKeith Taylor decided to start his 2009-10 debut with a bang. With the score deadlocked at 15 with 8:40 to go in the first half, Taylor drove the ball from the wing rose up and ferociously two hand dunked the ball.

From there, it was all Huarache as they went on a 15-0 run. In fact, Terminator did not score for almost 8 minutes. By halftime, Billy Dodson had 9 points and Eric Raymundo chipped in 7 points for Huarache. Raymundo is a great spark off the bench. He's quick and has got a solid jumper, but his flashiness at times can hurt Huarache. In the first half, he committed a turnover by trying to throw a behind the back pass and got called for five seconds for dribbling too much.

In the second half, Huarache continued to add to their lead. They are a very balanced team and have several players that can score the ball. Their largest lead was 23 and they ended up winning the game 58-38. Dodson led the way with 16 ponits and Omar Grant aka Lil' Chris Paul led Terminator with 11 points. Dan Gladstone also had a nice game for Terminator with 10 points, 7 rebounds and 2 steals.

Play of the Game: Hands down, LeKeith's dunk. It changed the tempo and got the rest of Huarache pumped.
