Hyperflight 43, Dunk 56

Team Dunk took an early 15-6 lead with the fast-break play of Rafa (19 points), Sureshot (nine points) and Harold Reid (nine points). Jamaree Pinkard (nine points) hit a scoop in the lane and tried to keep Hyperflight in the game and followed up by Jeremy Siler (nine points) drive. At 3:45 Siler caught an and-one and hit the free throw, to cut the lead 24-17. But Rafa extended the lead with a drive 26-17 at the half.

 

Team Dunk got hot in the second half and had an 8-0 run, to put them ahead 40-27. Reid even got a little “Hype” and told Team Dunk to call a timeout (which they did). Niko Klansek (16 points) joined in on the fun in the second half but Team Dunk had built too big a lead. Coach Steve “Zen Master” Halo (blue knitted hat) was able to relax this week as his team won 57-43.

    Cry for my own guy, I know Edowa had at least 8 boards. He missed 3 shots himself in a row, (Charles Smith style) and still grabbed those boards.
