Player of the Week

Week 10 of the NRF was quite possibly the best yet. AF1 proved they could contend with anyone (and this is still without the mythical PR in the lineup) by beating title contender Delta Force. Jason Burke messed around and got a double-double in convincing fashion, taking full advantage of his six-foot-six-ness. Terance Takyi had another stellar performance for Huarache a.k.a. the Perfect Posse a.k.a. The Killer Bees. Takyi's 27 points and five steals only strengthened his case for MVP and more importantly proved that competition is none by beating up the Shox, until they walked off the court. But the game that proved most noteworthy was the nightcap between Dunk and defending champs, Uptempo. Dunk got off to a slow start this season but has had a late surge. Raf made sure that Uptempo ended their season with a losing record by dropping 22, four, four and four. That's almost 22, five, five and five! He was clutch, commanded his team, hell, he even convinced the ref that looks like Steve Harvey to make the right calls and not ref the game with his jacket in hand, so he could break out early. Not only is he deserving of his POW honors, but his performance this week has to have put him in conversation for MVP, his own puppet or even a shirt that says witness. This is a Nike League, right? I say we make it happen.

Seems like every POW comes from the team facing Uptempo...interesting.

Team Dunk's record is 4 and 4 and is now in third place in the Downtown Conference. That is all.

@NRF You're right, it is kind of interesting. I think it's a plan set up by the CIA to bring down New Heights, Pegleg, and Mountain Dew. Google operation New Leg Mountain...there out to get us, b!

Would be really good if the stats would be handled on time. I like bitching about the stats being wrong, not them not being on the website. now we have to wait weeks for one week and standing are always wrong. Clearly im bitching about this but this is what we pay the 250 for, shorter season? at least have the stats and everything right...

Stats - we have been having problems with the site that have been ongoing this year. All the stats will be up asap. That being said its really bugged that you complain about paying $250 for NRF. There are other leagues out there for cheaper - check em out. Nobody asked to pay for when we added 5 extra weeks last year.

it would be great if you guys can get the standings right. delta force is 6-2 and air force 1 is 4-3. you gotta be on top of your game if you're in charge of the website.
