For the first time all year, the NRF Power Ranking is going unchanged from one week to the next. Can a team in the bottom six crack a seemingly rock-solid Top Four?
10. Hyperflight - 'Flight is second to last in NRF in free throws attempted with 56 FTA on the season. It happens to be that Air Force 1 has only taken 46 shots at the stripe, but if you're raining three's like they are, it doesn't really matter how often you get to the line.
9. Terminator - A super tough loss last week for Term, as they dropped to the best team in the League, AF1, 77-65. We could have bumped them up for topping the 60-point plateau, but it's kind of unfair to move a team up who still ends up taking an L.
8. Delta Force - Their game vs. Dunk was a virtual deadlock during the first half. But Delta Force came out so flat in the second, it almost felt as though they'd spent all of their energy during the first 20 minutes. A 14-point second half isn't going to help Delta's confidence.
7. Generation - Watch out for these guys as the season progresses. The longer they play together, the more they'll gel, and thus take advantage of their quickness and speed. With Rafael DaSilva, J.J. McGowan, Dan Cherry, Adrian Miles, and Joe Branch all playing together, they should be able to really get up and down the court.
6. Huarache - Holding Uptempo to a season-low 37 points in a loss is good enough to stay put at No. 6. We've said it a bunch in these pages, but when LeKeith Taylor has it working, he's an absolute nightmare. He finished last week's game with 12 points, 8 boards and 3 blocks, but couldn't do enough to overcome a four-point deficit when the clock struck 0:00.
5. Foamposite - Foam gave Shox everything they could handle last week. There's one thing that people don't realize about this team. Though they might not have size and speed across the board, they make shots. Keith Howard might be the quietest scorer in NRF - he finished with 16 points last week on the hush. They could crack the Top 4 at some point.
4. Dunk - What's the best way to guard these guys? It's not really safe to zone a team who can shoot from deep - especially with Bobbito Garcia. But Will Blunt does a great job taking advantage of man-to-man D. There isn't a good answer.
3. Shox - Two close games in two weeks doesn't inspire much confidence. But Shox has eeked out W's in both of them, moving up to 5-1. Guard Justin Leonard is heating up, though, and his three-point shooting is becoming a real threat to the competition.
2. Uptempo - Though they were held to 37 points by Huarache, Uptempo proved that they can win a low-scoring ugly battle, too, holding their opponent to 33 points on the night.
1. Air Force 1 - It doesn't look like they're going to give up their top spot any time soon. AF1 is not only one of the most talented teams - as we saw with Brandon Smith lighting up the scoreboard for a season-best 33 points last week, but they're also one of the smartest teams. Chris Dowling is very smart on the block, and Paul Rivera could be the best all-around guard in the L.
