I deserve some credit for this. For weeks, I've been saying that
Keith Howard is one of the most underrated, underappreciated players in NRF. He's consistently putting up solid numbers, and is a tough matchup for pretty much everyone in the league.
He proved this point against Delta Force this week, knifing through the lane in transition and sticking open J's in the half-court set for 28 points (12-17 FG) and 8 boards.
LeKeith Taylor's perfect night from the floor (19 points, 8-8 FG, 3-3 FT) gets overshadowed by Howard's night. If Keith wasn't getting buckets at the rate he was, Foamposite wouldn't have pulled out the W. But even if LeKeith wasn't doing his thing, the rest of the Huarache crew was so white-hot that they probably wouldn't have been stopped.
Apologies to Mr. Taylor, but it was a special night from Howard.
