Despite Hyperflight's lack of wins, it hasn't come on account of lack of effort. Giving 150% every game,
Jose Carlson matches up with the top guards in the NRF and tries to get it done on both ends of the floor. Take a few minutes to learn a little bit more about Jose…
Name: Jose “J-Buckets” Carlson

Industry: Life
Job title: Unemployed
What do you do for your job? When I was employed, I worked at one of the most elite sneaker consignment shops in the country called Flight Club. We were supplying a majority of the sneaker community with the hottest and latest vintage sneakers in the game with kicks coming from various collectors and resellers.
Age: 22
Hometown: Bensonhurst, Brooklyn!
Height: 5-9
Weight: 155
Shoe size: 10
Position: Guard/Shooting Guard
My Home Court: I feel at home anywhere I play
Playing Experience: I’ve been playing basketball since I was four years old. I got tons of trophies. I played and represented for a church team in my hood called Saint Dominics for over 10 years. Throughout the years, I played anywhere I seen people playing. Even if people weren’t there playing, I stood and worked on my game. Also, I played a few games in high school, but my grades weren’t up to par so you know how that goes. Not too many people in gym class could really stop me though. My jump shot was serious; it will come back soon.
Favorite Sneakers: Nikes period. I’m really feeling those Penny 1/2 cents
Favorite Player: Jose Carlson (laughs)
Favorite Team: Hyperflight!
Go-to-Move: The Shammgod
I play: Every sport and Madden, Fight Night and 2K on XBOX 360, so whoever want it, let me know.
Coming up I admired: I have to say basketball. From every shot, pass and crossover, it was something that kept me out of trouble and made me feel good and at ease.
My basketball moment: (laughs) I got footage on this. I was like 12 or 13 and it was a night game at some church and the court had no grip around mid-court on the right side. So I come running down dribbling and BAM, I fall straight into a baseball slide. Still dribbling, I manage to get up with a defender trying to reach for the steal, and I cross the ball through my legs and there goes that kid sliding down the court. (laughs) I passed the ball off, we scored and I couldn’t stop laughing. It was pretty crazy.
