The first game is always a big one when the reigning champs take the floor. Although there won't be any ring ceremony (or will there be?) the remaining pieces of Uptempo's championship squad are already thinking about their trip back to the Garden. Although David Jacoby (Delta Force) and Stalley (Air Force 1) are gone, the three-headed monster of Scott Williams, Danny Millan and Mike Won remains for GM Terrence Chin's Uptempo squad.

Of all the teams in the NRF, I'm pretty sure that Foamposite is one of the last that Uptempo would like to play first. A scrappy bunch of guys that got deeper with the additions of Dan Cherry and Jamaal Lesane, if Uptempo doesn't bring the energy, you know Foamposite will.

Key Matchup: Scott Williams vs. Keith Howard

Whether or not these two players will guard each other, Williams and Howard are the motor that drives each team. On both ends of the floor, it will be interesting to see who gets the best of their opponent.
