Week 6: Player of the Week

For the first week this season, choosing Player of the Week has been a tough call. Each game, there was standout player doing their thing. In Game 1, Rafael DaSilva dropped 21 points on 5-of-6 shooting from the floor, 2-of-4 from deep and was 5-for-6 from the line to go along with 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 3 steals. In Game 2, Omar Grant dropped 23 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the floor, 2-of-4 from deep and was a perfect 3-for-3 from the line to go along with 7 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal. But in Game 3, Brandon Smith was a perfect 3-for-3 from the floor, 5-of-10 from deep and was a perfect 9-for-9 from the line to go along with 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. The impressive thing about all these performances, is that all three guys only had 1 turnover each.

But unfortunately only one person can win it, and this week's Player of the Week honors go to the man in the neon green Hyperdunks, Mr. Brandon Smith. Congrats!

    You couldnt give those hyperdunks away to a homeless white kid with dreads on st. marks place...Keep those on ice, for a very long time son. I need lasik surgery after looking at those.

    Hey OMG, Brandon's my boy, and his game is one of the illest in the league, I can not deny that (his 3 ball is ice water)...And on top of it all, Brandon is a super nice dude which is what counts most. OMG, didn't know you cared so much what a grown mans face and hair looked liked (no pause). I do fine for myself...So back off son.
