Air Force 1 can now say they are the best team in the League. They beat gave Shox their only loss, the beat Uptempo, and they are still undefeated. The three guard line up of PR, ER, and Brandon Smith get it done. The last time these teams faced off Brendan Callahan hit a game winner as Terminator prevailed by 1 point…but that was Week 1 of the ’07-’08 season. Terminator is going to have to play together for them to pull of this early season upset.

Key Matchup: Chris Dowling (AF1) v. Michael Smith (Terminator)

If I had to pick a Defensive Player of the Year right now it would be LeKeith Taylor or Chris Dowling. Dowling gets after it on the defensive end. He played excellent D on Uptempo’s Danny Milan last week. A few games before the Mike Miller look alike frustrated NRF vet Jason Burke en route to Shox only current L. Dowling is probably going to have to guard Michael Smith, the first overall pick in the NRF draft. Smith has yet to break out. In layup lines we see the dunks and we know he has a ratchet but it hasn’t translated into wins yet. If Michael steps up Terminator can be a pretty formidable opponent.
