Week 4 brought us the debut of a few teams NRF Shoes. Some of the teams that displayed their new iD’d kicks were Hyperflight, Foamposite and Uptempo. Hyperflight homie Aron Philips tried to solicit Sneaker of The Week with his Rajon Rondo Hyperfuse PE but this week’s accolades go to Bobby Jones and the rest of Hyperflight for their sick Air Jordan XI inspired Hyperdunks. With a super sleek matte black base, black patent trim and red outsole the Hyperflight kicks take homage from the iconic Jordans and give them a modern twist. Although when you have the iD guru Iz Mateo on your team as a consultant you can only expect gems like these.

December must be Josh Gotthelf’s favorite month of the year and not just because it means another fiscal year is about to begin. If you can remember back to this time last year Josh broke out the “Joker” colorway of the Kobe V’s and ran away with the Sneaker of the Week award. Well it’s been about a year since then and Josh once again brought out some serious Kobe HEAT. The Terminator hustle man blessed us all with a sneak(er) preview of the unreleased Zoom Kobe VI’s. The Black/Del Sol (see: yellow) low top kicks don’t even have a release date yet but that didn’t stop Josh from busting them out in last night’s showdown with Hyperflight.

It’s been a fairly tame showing sneaker wise so far this season but Josh has officially made it a competition again.

With World Basketball Festival and USA Basketball coming up, Eric Raymundo of Huarache decided to suit up in the new 2010 Hyperdunk is a USAB colorway. If I am not mistaken, the shoe will release later this month with some slight changes. Be sure to pick these up if you're looking forward to playing ball this summer.

While everyone else forgot their kick game at home, there was one person who only comes with heat. iZ Mateo from Team Hyperflight came sporting a new Nike Zoom Kobe V that is going to be released around Holiday Season later on this year. Too bad iZ didn't sign up for Ankle Insurance that comes with the shoes; if you were in the gym you know what we mean. 

Sneaker of the Week this week goes to Rafael DaSilva of Team Dunk after he came in to the Seward Park gym wearing the yet-to-be-released Nike Zoom Hyperfuse. Too bad he and Team Dunk couldn't get the win.

Even though Team Huarache didn't get to play, Terance Takyi was still complaining about not getting his All-Star bid this year. So what did he do? He came into the gym sporting the Nike Hyperize in the All-Star colorway trying to make his point. Good work.

Brandon Smith of Team Air Force 1 never lets anyone down when it come to what he has on his feet for NRF. To be honest, I think that he has worn a different shoe every game for the past two seasons. Brandon Smith wore the Nike LeBron IV's "Birthday Editions" last week. He has his won campaign for trying to get LeBron to come to the city and play for the Knicks.

This week, Steve Halo came into the gym rocking Nike Zoom Kobe V iD's in a Bengals colorway. Good thing he wore new shoes for his new look team, as the got the win over Generation last night. Week 20 SOTW honors go to Halo for these fresh creations.

Delta Force's Kelvin Coffey came into the gym with at least one thing on his mind. He knew if he wasn't winning the game, he was going to win Sneaker of the Week. Coffey was spotted rocking Nike Air Max CB 94 P.E. made for Amar'e Stoudemire with his STAT logo on the side. The shoes are extremely limited and deserve Sneaker of the Week hands down.

Brandon Smith continues to bring the heat this year, this time with another pair of LeBrons: the Nike Air Max LeBron VII in Cool Grey/Orange/White. Keep 'em coming LeBrandon!
